Good Friday - The Hands Upon The Cross
The simple fact of Good Friday is this - that in all His goodness Jesus took a cross designed for His death and forever turned it into the symbol of everlasting life. The cross may have been built over 2000 years ago, but what role did your hands play in building that very cross? Jesus took on the cross with joy, knowing that He was taking the entirety of sin, shame, burden, and death out of the world. That includes your sin, my sin, the sins of our fathers, and that of our children to come. This is Good Friday. Jesus in all His goodness.
